Welcome to the fun and excitement of Sea Scouting! Sea Scouts is a first-class boating adventure for young adults ages 14 through 20. As a member of the Sea Scout Ship Conquest, you will receive expert training in Seamanship, Navigation, Rules of the Road, Safety, First Aid, Swimming, Small and Large Boat Handling, Sailing, Canoeing, Water Skiing, Windsurfing, Marlinespike, and Boat Construction, Maintenance, and Repairs.

You will  master operating our NEW! 49 foot Motor Launch as well as our Olympic-class Finn and Sabot sailboats.  You can learn small boat handling on our Ski Nautique^® competition ski boat.  You will be taught about boat construction and repairs in both wood and fiberglass.  You will learn about both diesel and gasoline engine systems, and marine electronics.

In addition, you will also have the opportunity to have lots of fun! We cruise to Avalon, the Isthmus, Emerald Bay, Catalina Harbor, and other parts of Catalina Island.  Our Sea Scouts have cruised as far North as Alaska, and as far South as Scammons Lagoon in Baja, Mexico.  We compete with other Sea Scouts in nautical events and competitions!  We take harbor cruises, fishing trips, and whale watch cruises.  Dances, barbecues, picnics, beach & pool parties, camping, hiking, snow trips, movie nights, lake & desert trips, and discounts to Disneyland, Knott’s, and Magic Mountain round out the social side of the program
